Re: Armorteks next model
If the guy's at Armortek produce a Chieftain, it would be fantastic (as we have discussed in the past) to recreate the gear change along with the very nice inertia arse down/arse up nodding, or from the front nose down/nose up nodding, this along with the cannon stabilisation system would be so nice and way ahead of the competition. Just a tracked thought See video below which shows just a snippet of the preselect gear change effect.

Re: Armorteks next model
I wholeheartedly agree Phil. Incidentally, if the Tank Museum continue to drive the Chieftain without gun stabilisation working, they run the very real possibility that they'll strip the gears in the elevation gearbox. I've seen it done. Moving a Chieftain without the stab on was a cardinal sin in my Regiment and the perpetrator was often invited to "march yourself to the jail" or "open your wallet and say after me....." ie to receive extra duties or be invited to make a voluntary contribution to welfare funds...... Not pretty. Chieftain would be a stunning model and a fitting companion to Comet and Centurion.

I have a plan for the gear change effect, how about a momentary power supply breaker running in conjunction with the esc's, as you push the stick a series of simple gaps in a copper track interrupts the current just momentarily to the motors and the speakers ? You could do this electronically of course but it may prove a point interim...Phil.

Re: Armorteks next model
Armortek announces its new model on September 17th. I'm very curious ...
What I would like is a compact kit as a small RC model. A German VW Kuebelwagen, Schwimmwagen, a Kettenkrad Sd.Kfz.2 or a US Jeep ...
That would be great!
The Kuebelwagen can be built so varied. From WWII Wehrmacht to Post War Post car 1946 to the collector's vehicle with modern people 2018.
Even an Opel Blitz falls into this category.
Here I have a list of my "all Time" favorite & desired models listed
Sd.Kfz.2 Kettenkrad
VW Kuebelwagen
VW Schwimmwagen
Opel Blitz 4x4
Sd.Kfz 251 Ausf.D
Sd.Kfz.234 Puma Armored Car
GMC 6x6 US Truck
M26 Dragon Wagon
M4 Sherman
M4 Hight Speed Tractor
M6 Greyhound US Armored Car
Bergepanther (I hope I get a model - new edition?)
Panther (I hope I get a model - new edition?)
King Tiger (I hope I get a model - new edition?)
Jagdtiger
Renault FT 17
M26 Pershing
M48 Patton
M113
Best regards
Michael

Re: Armorteks next model
Hello Kian,
we all buy more than we can build ...
The list is long, very long and all models will never exist.
Is not necessary. I am happy if one or the other comes.
A compact RC kit as a small budget "entry-level model" as already written, I would find great. I think that would also make one or the other with a little less money to buy an Armortek model.
Oh, the Opel Blitz would be great ...
But you know best what you want to produce and sell.
Best regards
Michael

Re: Armorteks next model
I would TOTALLY buy one of these kits...
Though the spoked wheels would suck.
Cheers,

I like your list - the D7 Dozer would be awesome!
Nice one Brian, covers both bases - Planes, and Tanks!

Re: Armorteks next model
'Some of John's Guesses correct' Kian?
Are you going 'off piste' and doing a TARDIS instead of a Tank???
We know you are wizards at CNC Machining but time Travel as well

Re: Armorteks next model
That would be real wizardry at CNC machining. The model would be bigger on the inside than it is on the outside.
