Looking superb as usual Simon, I always admire you talented painters, I can never get my weathering to look like that.
Paul.

Hi Simon, That looks so real, with the right background and lighting you would have a hard time spotting it is a model. Definitely one for Phil's Real or Fake post
Paul.

thanks all for taking the effort to post, just continuing applying some paintwork getting myself ready to tackle the front end of the tank, which won't be easy figuring out how to rifle the barrel, there's still a lot left, regards simon.

Hi Simon, its nice to see a bit more done. The rifling, if you have a milling machine, can you not use the same process Stephen White used to make his rifling plug? they will just be wider apart.
Did you get those things done for me?
Paul.

The colour/weathering is some of the most convincing that I have ever seen, it's very much like the colour photos that we posted in real or fake recently, you must share or at least give us an incite into your technique Simon!
As for rifeling that barrel I would struggle I think.......cheers Phil

Hi Simon, I think the painting and weathering is the most consuming part of the build, that why I only paint mine. It looking great though mate, you enjoy yourself

welcome back to the sturmtiger build, because the hatch is so visible on this model i decided to try and make the close defence weapon, as usual more to it than meets the eye and different variations, this is the progress so far, more improvement and tweaking needed but the basics are there using the original Armortek hatch, thanks for looking regards simon manning.

Very nice work Simon, you have put some time in to make that detail. No wonder you have been quiet lately, when do you go into production?
Paul.
