Re: Smoker Fan Control Unit
I'll be taking a small number of these smoker fan control units with me to TankFest this weekend. Several of the customer tanks there have them fitted, if you would like a live demo.

Re: Smoker Fan Control Unit
I've just completed a new batch of these smoker fan control units. Three will be on their way to John at East Coast Armory but the rest are new available for immediate dispatch.
I have tested the unit with the new Armortek Audio Module and am happy to report they are compatible. Just connect to LED Output 4:

Re: Smoker Fan Control Unit
Whilst I had the King Tiger under test at the weekend, I thought I'd do a new video with my smoker fan control unit.
The model is a 2009 release King Tiger, fitted with a single current Armortek smoker unit, filled with lamp oil.
The KT usually has two but there wasn't room due to the internal battery layout, and on the evidence of this video, I don't think it needs any more!
The video shows that my control unit powers the smoker fan all the time that the engine sounds are playing, rather than only when the tank is moving, which is what happens with the standard Armortek wiring loom.
I've also wired the element through a spare channel on the MCM, so that it can be switched off from the transmitter to save power or if the fluid runs low.

Re: Smoker Fan Control Unit
Just a quick note to say my smoker fan control units are still available and compatible with all Armortek branded modules, not just the Red Box ones
Now the collarbone is healing I will be able to send out as needed.
£59 each, plus P&P and Paypal fees if paying through them.
