Re: new tiger
G'day All. Some update pictures.
I had some problems with the front mud guards. I ended up drilling the hinges out to 2.5mm then putting a M2.5 pan head & nut. Fitted nicely & works well. Not historically correct but will do for now.
Added the black to the exhaust for the sooty look. I'm happy with the result.

G'day Nick. The PIV is being reconfigured internally and will be cleaned & repainted. I have been slowly building the bridge in the house when it gets to cold in the garage.

Re: new tiger
G'day All. There was discussion about the grill mesh being tie with wire. Can someone with more knowledge than me guide me. I haven't trimmed the wire, but when I did was going to fold the ends down. Comments please.

Re: new tiger
G'Day Ray,
Well done with the mesh Ray just the job.
Just been reading up and looking at pictures and like John said,
The fine mesh looks to be only under the big ones and fixed with wire
tied underneith round the engine grill.
Zimmerit looks Ok,when you have done practicing,I started on the little slopes
to the floor to give me more confidence
All the best

G'day All,
Just something small, rear deck painted. Over the next few days I will attempt zimmeriting. Followed by front deck.
