Oh no not a Hetzer!
Please give us something new there isn´t on the market today.
The 38T would be a good one.
But I think an upgraded rerelease of the Panther is more likely.

Hetzer ! a nice small tank, and i would say easy to make aswell, so a very quick kit and proberly good for the bank in these very hard times .

I like the Panzer 38t, as it is a smaller tank. I would like it over the larger tank due to size and potential cost. And, it seems a lot of focus has been on the Tigers, Panther, etc., etc already. So, I am interested in something "less heavy" and fresh.....

While I would like a Panzer 4, that is about as heavy as I want to get in the forseeable future - in tanks. And, I am not even think about 2010. I mean, its not just about the Armortek kit and option packs. One has to consider the detail parts and getting them.

If you think about it, building one of these tanks is a complex, long-term project......a bit different from throwing together a 1/35th model....with aspects other hobbyists don't encounter or have to navigate.... Our segment of the hobby is a bit unusual and few think about when here; and most don't see from the sidelines...
(I told one of our 1/35th brothers on the Missing-Lynx forum that I have been waiting over a year for some of the parts for my Panzer 3 in passing and he flipped. SORRY - I think I bursted his bubble on getting into our corner of the hobby!)

Actually, it seems like more detail parts are available for Tigers and Panthers... But still, I would like something liter on my pocket book and my back (And, think of poor Gill - )

PS - if Mark and Gill elect to go soft-side, I would like to submit the Krupp-Protze truck for consideration -

And, may I also put forth this...

could Mark and Gill look into a way of just offering up just lowers (hulls, no turrets) for kits like P3s, P4s and the P38t (when you decide to offer it) - I think finding a way to cost effectively carter directly to those wanting to build variants is worth looking at.....

That's just been announced by an Asian manufacturer. I don't know whether it is RC-able or not but it seems a waste to have two companies producing the same model. Same with the Hetzer, as the Spearhead one has recently been resurrected.

If people are interested in a smaller tank that's covered in rivets, how about the Italian medium tanks and their associated Semoventes ?

Hi fellas.
I like the 38 t idea with quite a few variants to go for, and i suppose it has to be a new model not one done by anyone else as has been said so even though i would like one the Hetzer is probably no good and i think {Richie} i am right in saying someone has already done the Sturmtiger as an add on top? to your Tiger its quite a while ago now but i do remember seeing it on the old forum....possibly Mike Stannard??? not sure, other than that i would like to see a re run of the panzer 4.

Like the Hetzer...relatively simple..the possibility for other models 38t, Marder series..spanning a wide time range. Or a Stug III based on an existing kit

I've always liked the Hetzer. It was a good simple design (no turret complexity) for mass production. It being a smaller target was a great advantage too.

It was would be an easy build/production and inexpensive model, I imagine.
It would be nice to have in my collection.

Hi All
I have an interest in a Universal carrier, but what I would go for is a DUKW that works!
If anybody knows of a 1/6 model out there already please let me know, otherwise a good alternative to a tank that could appeal to the model boat fraternity to make for economic production numbers.

Hi Guys
As a model boat man of many years 38 or more.
I don't see a metal DUKW working, eg floating and driving.
There is a fiber glass hull in a smaller size 1:10 and it is
very hard to get it to work as the conversion
from road wheels to prop drive is hard to do by radio control.
I would be interesting but the cost to do it properly would be astronomical.
