Couple of things to check.
In your description of the plugs when fitted together,what colours matched with each
other was wrong.
are they all now matching the photographs I put on for you and my list of which cable
matched the other
RE your Auxiliary module connections they look Ok.
What I have noticed in the Electronics Modules Manual,Page 14 and 15,the Blue and brown
cables on the left hand side are shown different ways.
Page 14 shows Blue Brown and page 15 shows Brown Blue.
Mine is like on page 15 and yours is like on page 14.
Dont know if this would make a difference any way because both of those go to the
elevation motor,but you could try a quick swap to see.
If all the colours deffinately match up,which side of the loom plugs did you remove
the connections from
If it was the Limit side you could try disconnecting the plug and check each connection
to the 7 black and green/yellow with your multimeter,to check for a good connection.
Last thing I can think of is that to change the direction of the Elevation motor would
need a Relay.
So just like the relay in your Speed controler it could have a stuck contct,so take the
cover off your auxiliary and use your magic finger for a quick tap of any relay box you
can see.
Because it worked for you on your bench test before altering the connections,it must
still be the connections or the relay.
You must have altered something back right to get the one limit working.

Hello Phil, I tried swapping the two leads over....this made no difference.
I have taken the top off the Auxiliary Module....now, when I move the Tx stick to the right, the elevation motor runs until stopped by depressing the limit switch. The two relays at the far right move forward and back.
The next two relays along do not move, when I move the Tx stick to the left.


However, I have noticed that when I switch the Power module on...the second relay moves forward, and stays there until I switch the Power Module off.
I have tried tapping the relays....could the problem be with the second relay, indicated here by my Armortek pen?, as you can see the relay is in the forward position.


I have rechecked all the leads...they are the same as yours.....Mick

Yes you may be right,sometimes 4 relays are used when changing the direction of a
motor so that they are interlocked when the power is changed over by the contacts.
all 4 should work at sometime,but 2 at a time if I remember right
Looks like you have done what you can and needs to go to Mark for testing.
Be on the safe side and arrange to send your Loom back for checking aswell,but I think
you are right the Module needs testing.
Lookforward to hearing that you are back up and running.

Hello Phil, I have now checked all the leads from the Aux Mod through to the motor and limit switches with my multimeter. I have continuity through all leads.. The relays to the far right both move forward when I move the Tx stick to the right, and the limit switch works..... Nothing happens when I move the Tx stick to the left. The next set of relays along do not move. As I said previously the second relay moves forward as soon as I switch the power supply on.This relay stays on until I switch the power off.

I have a JagdPanther also and I can see that you have a metal structure bracket part (right at the tannoy speakers) to support the weight of the top back heck

this is not in my JagdPanther - is that a standard armortek part or something you made youself?

Hello Phil, I am making steady progress.....looking forward to getting an 'air brush unit' ready for the better weather.Then on to camouflaging the Jagdpanther,I have noticed some very fine finishes......I am not up to weathering yet. Can't bear to get the little lady 'dirty'.

Hello Steen, the part is called a 'Bulkhead' part number CH0144, included in the Ultimate Panther/Jagdpanther Variant Armortek kit. It's probably a part used in the original Armortek Panther kits. Check with Gill.....Armortek may have one.

I think I will just start the Jagd' engine, fire the main gun.....etc,.

Steady progress......I like the Steve Winstone parts, exhausts and jack. I am hoping to have the Jagd' ready for the local 'shows' in June. There is a need for warmer weather, my garage come spray booth area is very cold.......mick.

I have finally located all of the electronic modules, checking their operation as I go. I use a rubber mesh between the units to avoid electrical shorting, (from experience).
The upper hull fits extremely well with the lower hull, and makes access to the Jagdpanther internals very easy.

Great looking build Michael and it all looks so neat and tidy.

You seem to have acres of internal space. I keep looking at the boxes of accessory packs, and at my Centurion hull, and wondering "how on earth.........?" !!
