they are cast and accurate in dimensions
Hi Simon and Vince,
Hate to bring this up
![Crying or Very sad ](./images/smilies/icon_cry.gif)
as I love Steves parts and has tons of them myself but have to object on the accurate C-hook statement above.
Many, many moons ago I bought a real ww2 Tiger/Panther C-hook from Germany, a relic from the Halbe pocket.
Armed with that one I was able to help Bob with the dimensions for his Panther an got me a set myself, outstanding work Bob!
Later I helped Mike Stannard as well and they are still available at FOA.
http://www.fieldofarmortanks.com/6si-tt ... -as-a-kit/
As the photo below show there are some difference from the Bob/Mike/FOA (the one on top) and Stever (the below one).
But Steves is cast in bronze and will tow anything, Mike/FOA is white metal and will not. The Bob one is aluminum but I don't think he has any more of them for sale.
All of them is better then the kit ones.....
Kind regards
Kent

"Borrowed" a cone bolt from the kit for the Starter Access Cover. Hopefully there was an extra one in the packet.

I happen to own 2 real C-Hooks... 1 for Tiger/Panther/etc. and 1 for PzIII/IV.
What you see here is one of each! The top one being the Tiger C-Hook but below is more like a PzIII/IV C-Hook.

Hi Vince,
Do you have Steve Winstones email, I don’t seem to be able to get in touch?
As for the tow ropes rusting, I dipped mine four years ago, and they look today as they did back when I treated them, but I keep them inside, out of the elements.
Kind regards,
Simon
