I will make the central roof support also. I designed the ammo boxes to fit the interior of the Armortek Tiger 1 so some details will not be as the original.
thanks yves, see you at TANKMOD.

Put the box in place and re-assembled the hull roof and turret. Bugger. It does'nt fit.

Snagging on the base of the turret. This is the problem with building without screws. I will have to try taking apart and see if can be fixed. BLOWTORCH. Otherwise it's a bin for the bin.

At least I now know how to proceed with the other bins.

I took the box apart and rebuilt. Fits fine now.

Is that brass or just the lighting? Very nice John.

Phil, must be lighting. It's mainly aluminium. There are a couple of brass rings on the recuperate /
recoil cylinder housings. This one is the one I'm using to work out how it will all fit together.
Not sure yet how detailed I will go. So many excellent build going on at the moment. Great inspiration.
It has been slow going as I'm kept busy at work dealing with Covid 19 and now Brexit has finally kicked in and is keeping me very busy.

Hi John, Great to see a post from you. Nice work on the gun breach - very cool. Will be amazing once finished. Glad to hear you are still working on tanks!
Best regards, Bob

G'day John, long time no hear.
I started this same thing ìn 2016 but got side tracked. I do mean to finish it, one day. With your skills yours will be great I'm sure. Here's a couple pics of where I got to. To get the sharp breech area edges I had to screw the rear of the gun onto the body as you can see. All the best. Ray
I initially 3d printed it then machined them.
