The periscope will need a coat of olive drab but not just yet.
I'm still working on the smoker and working out a way to plumb the engine exhausts in with the high pressure smoker outlet.

The signal lead goes into OUT3+4 on the Benedini board, so the top set of pins in your picture.

They should both be have the same output but I would try it with the white lead at the bottom and the red lead in the centre to start with.

Thanks Adrian, I'm assuming that your lovely unit is 24v in and the output is regulated/proportional fan speed out of 24v as before, also how many amps do I have available on the output now?

A good afternoon's work.
A couple of questions for Adrian, what are the working voltages of your unit please, Ie input voltage range?
How many amps do I have to play with regarding fan loading?

Outstanding work, and great reading as always Phil.
Out of curiosity did you use Armorpax filler caps? I looked at them many years ago but was never sure they were the right size.
Keep it up.
Kevin

It's rated up to 36V and 5A without a heatsink, though probably good for up to 7 or 8 amps I would think.

Thanks Adrian, the unit is working very well I just have a bad motor on the air pump.
Another question, which side of the equation would you have the speed controller, before your unit or after? I use the speed controller to set the optimum air pump speed as every system I build is slightly different. Thanks in advance Phil.

I would put the controller in front of my unit, as continually interrupting the supply to the controller probably wouldn't do it any favours.

That's what I thought, have you ever considered making a device to give us track recoil when the main gun fires? Surely every owner would want one of those too!

To make it visible would put a huge amount of stress on the motors and gearboxes.

From what I've seen of tanks firing, they hardly rock anyway.
