They will not be as perfect as your panzerwerk versions but I will do my best with items in the bits box. They are quite small but are based on the dimensions in the Trojca book. They should provide some added interest through the hatches. No special parts used. I have found most items in my bits box.

Thanks Phil, the radios are made from scraps. Cost nothing only time.

I have plenty of space for the hull ammo bins

I have fitted a smoker. Not overly impressed with the amount of smoke produced. I wonder if Adrians unit will work with my smoker.

Hi John.

Got to agree with Phil, I thought you had made or bought castings of the radio's very well done must pay more attention ha ha as for smoke . . . maybe your fire wall is working too well? only kidding all looks great.
Cheers Paul.

Hi John.

> I wonder if Adrians unit will work with my smoker.

It looks like one of the older style smokers, so my unit should be suitable.

> Not overly impressed with the amount of smoke produced.

But it won't increase the smoke output. To do that, you need to increase the airflow through the lid. Here's a new lid I had waterjet cut:

Paul,

I think smoke output might be normal but smoke comes to the top of the exhaust stack then is deflected downwards by the exhaust top cover. There are just 4 small holes in the top plate of the smoker through which the fan can pass air and these are partially blocked by the fan spacer. Would it be better to make bigger or additional holes. Looking at Adrian's videos his smoker is a bit more vigorous. Maybe better brand of baby oil.

The radios are based on dimensions provided by tiger 1 technical and operational history, volume 11 by Trojca. Lots of info there on all the radio equipment. Made from plastic card some cap heads, washers and rivets. The full length floor is made from 3mm aluminium sheet. Gives plenty of space for electrics. I have left access hole for suspension adjustment/inspection. The front roof support and firewall slide out and floor can be easily removed.

Thanks Adrian, I might cut out a new top and experiment with vents.
Keep your unit in mind. I have a couple of these smokers.

It's been a while since I posted anythin. Twins born on 17 July and they have kept me busy. With the arrival of two babies I decided I had an excuse to build a new workshop in the interest of safety. I have been moving everythin hobby related to it's new location.
