That looks pretty bad Kian. Make sure everything gets dried out correctly - some industrial dehumidifiers will probably help. I inspected hundreds of flood damaged factories over the years and some had pretty bad problems afterwards through not being attended to properly. Hope everything goes ok.

If I can just add, I'm sorry to see about the flood. Hopefully everything is back to normal soon.

Many thanks for all your kind words.

I don't want to hijack this thread further, so started a new thread on the "Factory Flood" viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8274

Can now get back to discussing what our next model(s) might be :-)

I agree. A good Land Rover discussion is needed here!

And who can argue with a good Land Rover discussion!

Cheers and glad the flood was just a speed bump!

Wouldn’t a 1:1 Land Rover project be a similar price to a 1:6?

Yes, but the missus won't let me work on the Land Rover in the living room....

Kian told me it was OK for me to reveal the next Armortek model...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_3_Chi-Nu

Maybe a Land Rover next year!

P.S. Kian told me no such thing, just thought I would shake things up a little...
P.S.S. Everyone knows the Sherman is the right choice!

Alex, you might be onto something. To quote Kian:

It is likely that our next few models will be smaller - just to give our backs some time to recover

After King Tiger, Jagdtiger, Stug it's not likely to be a Panzer any time soon. Chieftain and Universal Carrier might make British less likely.

So that leaves an Easy Eight Part Work, just like those magazine things, where you get a part a week.......

Still think CVR(T) is up there......

If it were a Japanese WW2, it would have to be either the Type 94 Te-Ke in the Wheatcroft Collection or the Type 95 Ha-Go in the Tank Museum although if Kian is planning to go to Japan.....or Kubinka.....or Micronesia......or Puckapunyal.

I would take a part work Easy Eight any day Stephen! though I have to admit, the CVRT would be quite the sight running around at top speed!

This is what I was talking about, and why I'm hoping my long time wish might come true:

"From the survey we ran there are many tempting vehicles that we can choose from, but given that out of the latest 4 (tank) kits we have made/ will be making, 3 have been Germany WW2 and 1 has been British Cold War, it is time to spread the love a bit. "

That was the March newsletter, just after the Stug and Universal carrier were announced. Fingers crossed!

Cheers,

Alex

For 2021, it would be great to see any of the following:

Sherman
M60
Leopard

I am a late arrival to the Armortek family with just finishing my first tank (Elefant). I am on the list for a Tiger 1 so my input is only a wish list.

Hi All
For me the only 2 models I would be interested in buying are
M4A3 sherman as the kit issued about 13 years ago
or Jagdpanther obviously with the current upgrades we love. :D :D
Both of these I missed the first time round.

Regards

Derek

A Maultier maybe? :D

Tanks are great, but the support and utility vehicles are pretty cool, too! 8)
A little too much is about right...
