No I made all the bits myself.
I have seen thr Panzerwerk radio's they are very nice and good price,
but I think they are all German or American.
I came across a great link somewhere to another site that made all sorts
of 1/6 radio's,but I have lost it and like a fool never made a seperate note.

Panzerwerk do a British 19 set, it is a mk3, which were mainly built by the Canadians . They had dual English -- Russian language markings on the controls. Thousands were supplied to the Russians under Lend Lease. The Panzerwerk model has decals to match these sets.

The fun is in the making yourself,After admiring the parts you have made there
is no doubt you would make a cracking radio,but $35.00 to $40.00 for a kit is
very tempting.
I have just had another look at my radio and it stands up to quite close scutiny
through the hatches and the switches look 3D.
But my painting and finishing has disguised the pictures bonded onto box's,
the radio is steel and soldered,but the big switch box and the aerial tuner box
are wood blocks sprayed smooth with filler spray and the small triangle switch
is miliput.
They made the wireing easy to fix which is just the rigid black core of some
flat twin and earth cable.

I did'nt realize they were not 3d. Just see it now on the big screen. They certainly stand up to scrutiny. As you say the Panzerwerk are tempting as I need to move on with this build.

Hello Phil, hope all is well on the 'walking front', I am following your build.
The detail, as ever, is excellent. Any sign of the 'motion pack' arriving?

I have purchased a set of Vallejo Model Color paints. I am working on trying to improve the 'look' of my tank crew.
The Dragon models are very 'doll' like. I also downloaded a tutorial on weathering/face painting.

Always looking to improve on skills.
Doing plenty of soldering small steel parts today for my next part.

A brief 'how to' description and the Vallejo colours used. Just enough to fire my interest and give it a go.
