She now lives and breaths, the new sound module went in without any problems, anyone know what all the extra out puts do....mg led?
We are using the aux1 channel for the sound selection, that's the long three way switch just above and to the right of the throttle function stick, that way you can easily take your thumb off the left track stick and find and operate that toggle switch using just the ball of your thumb, instead of your thumb and index finger, I find the smaller 3 way toggles can be awkward and it's possible to miss click as you select through.

Everything is labelled Phil so you know what goes where and why All the functions are functioning, gun elevation, turret turn, all the sounds are correct, I have tuned the acceleration inputs to my spec for maximum realism , the motor drives are perfect, the final drives are greased and smooth as a babies bum (can we say that now?) I now need to run the Tiger through lots of wet mud and dirt and scrub off the tracks sharp edges to help weather those lovely but very new tracks in.

Yves, it's just the application of a hair spray product before you apply the top coat, (Tamiya flat white pissed down 80%) then simply brush, rub or use water and a brush to remove as much as you think fit. I have around 6 other techniques that I also use but they are confidential lol.

Totally in awe of your build, just wondering where you’ve located the speakers?! . Also noticed the warning on the audio module... can you not run with max sound for long?

Hi Phil, the speakers are where the fuel tanks would be. I have removed the over the top ali shrouds/mounts. The notice on the sound module warning of possible damage must be an after thought but a good idea all the same.

Been working on the front interior and weathering the wheels, I have done the final track link removal/tension before the maiden running trials which could happen tomorrow. We should have the turret interior any day now along with ammo boxes and an internal mg detail kit for the radio operators position.
If you look closely in the first photo there are some 88 mm rounds in an open bin under which a "bread bag" is hiding the main switch, the armortek remote switch is hiding under a helmet. To find the main switch simply insert your finger an lift the bread bag up.

What's a "bread bag" Phil?

Vince it's a bag that was used just for that by the German soldier, his ration of bread was kept in it along with other rations but was always referred to as the bread bag, it was fixed to the waist belt but often hung loose if the soldier was mechanized ie vehicle mounted I will post a photo tomorrow just for you, unless someone else has a one.

Running trials yesterday, just a couple of niggles to sort out but overall the Tiger runs lovely. 20 mins of run time in total.

Thankyou for your interest in our Tiger 1 build. The MG34 is made by Dragon and was purchased on eBay. There are two versions available, one is plastic and one is metal. The one I bought is the metal one which is more expensive but is much better and more robust.

The MG34 ammo belt and bullets come from Feld of Armor/6th Scale icons. The catalogue number is 6SI-BGT AMMO MG34 Belt and 25 bullets $24.95.

Is that how long the batteries lasted or just how long you ran her for ?

I ran it for 20 mins then encountered a technical problem, I reckon looking at the battery meter there was maybe another 15 to 20 mins left, maybe more at slower speeds. I did a lot of sitting around stationary with the sounds running to.
I have since installed 2 X 15 ah batteries and they now sit in between the motors. This being the same set up as the Bergepanther, I may stick with the latter. I shall conduct more trials using each set up, i feel like im on trial lol
