Thank you for your kind comments Phil and John.

Question.....is the end of the rear hinge pin 'threaded' for a reason ????. There is no female thread inside the hatch door. Answers on a postcard :)

Thanks Phil, love that Tiger, where on earth are you keeping all your armour?

Having looked carefully at my Jagdpanther book, I decided to fit m4 bolts to retain the hinges.....on the rear hatch. At last, managed to post two photographs..... :D

Hello Phil, the hatch fasteners are from Steve Winstone. I must say I am enjoying my attempt at metalwork.....takes me back to my school days, when I proudly made a 'coat hook'.
Some of the screws on the hatch cover are 'screw heads' Araldited in place. Not to sure that I have cracked the multiple photograph posts.....I simply 'save draft' and then add the next picture to the draft. My next task is to improve the 'focus' on the camera. :) Regards, Mick

Mick,

If you are using Amortek's photo upload facility all you need to do is :-

1. Click on post a reply, then click on upload attachment.

2. Click on browse to select the photo, if you are going to upload more than one photo then remember you have to upload in reverse order, because the last photo you upload will appear first in your post.

3. Enter a file comment for the photo if required.

4. Click on add file, takes a while depending on the photo size and resolution.

5. To add more photos just repeat the above 4 steps.

6. When you are happy that all have been uploaded click on preveiw or submit, I don't use save draft because I don't think it saves the attachments also preveiw doesn't save the post, so I always do a submit and then if it looks wrong I go in and edit it afterwards.

I hope this helps and not confuses.

Dennis.

Hi Mick
Plenty of bits to have a go at on the Jagdpanther, are those
some Armorpax parts in your Photo?
I can see some decals trying to hide under that box :)
Cheers
Phil

Hello Phil, yes they are Armorpax parts. I am trying to model most of my own additions.
I have just finished watching a BBC Timeshift 12 series, called 'British Army of the Rhine'. Most interesting, as I was stationed in Germany in the 1950's, for two and a half years. The film is worth a look, as it features 'tank' footage, during the Cold War.
I am enjoying your Tiger build.....best wishes, Mick

Slow, but steady progress.
