That's the Torsion bar cover plates now sorted - and only managed to break one M2.5 tap

Two have been fitted in the wrong direction due to interference with the main bump stop on the left hand side and with the gear casing on the right.

Quite happy though.

Back off holiday and ready to get on with the build.

Tank commander has now arrived and is ready to go off for his animatronic conversion.
Should be interesting to see how he turns out.

Hi Malcolm

Is it going to churchill creations?
If so he told me apart from the uniform head and hands he doesn't need anything else.
Seems a shame to destroy that pristine figure.

Cheers
Gary

Hello Malcolm.

I would suggest to look for a damaged body and use it's head and the last centimeter of the lower arm (where the hand goes in.

I did this with my animatronic, see viewtopic.php?p=88579#p88579

A move for the tank onto the lift table today and many hours cleaning up and dry fitting the hull parts.

Looks OK so will now dismantle and get some primer and internal paint colour on the parts.

Also now have a full set of M2.5 castle nuts come for the drive sprockets. Thanks Mark.

Some nice weather again today so managed to get on with finishing the priming of the main hull parts and getting the majority on the internal colour down.
Just a couple of panels tomorrow and should be able to get the hull back together.

Absolutely superb Malcolm, turning out to be a stunning build, and thanks for the heads up on the grub screw

Cheers
