Thanks for encouraging comments on the previous vlogs I’ll keep them coming!

Here is a little video while assembling wheels probably the most tedious part of the build so far.

Great to see Panther buidling v-log along with the explanation of flushing the road wheels' edge with rubber rim!
Also looking forward to see detailing up videos including zimm coating! :D

Great to see Panther buidling v-log. How did you manage to flush the outer road wheels with rubber rim?
Also looking forward to see detailing up videos including zimm coating! :D
Thanks!
I simply pushed the tire on only as far as the edge of the rim. It might not be perfect but it’s good enough.

It's a compromise and if it works then great!

I finished the rear deck and threw the turret together. it looks like I will have to take the turret back apart and file some edges to reduce the huge gaps that are present.

Hi Brian

You are certainly making swift progress, the turret have you got any pictures of the gaps?
Curious as see Eds post he also mentioned large gaps.

Cheers
Gary

Hi Gary I loosened the bolts and re tightened them in a separate order starting at the back and it removed the horrible gap.

If you want to dry fit the turret it will go together in about 30 minutes.

the speed of building your Panther seems quite fast phase! Good to see the turret and gun barrel completion!

I spend today making tracks and grinding sprocket teeth so made a quick vlog out of boredom.

Tracks on. 85 links per side. 2 more than the manual suggested. 18 spare links left over from the kit. I had to remove the right sprocket and rotate the outer gear plate because the timing marks were incorrect. I also had to remove the bump stops and cut the screw ends of the rubber-holding screws or they would drag on the track while installing. Right tensioner is at 12:30 and the Left tensioner is at 11:30. 20lbs added inside front hull to simulate motors.
