Today was a great day for painting was able to do most off the primer off all details.
Who needs a owen in day liket this
Also got time to try out the fenders and some detail that I had in mind for some time.
But no we had to find/come up with something else. Well it was worth a try
Got some more parts from Armorpax some time ago , need some work yes but I think it could do.
Some small start on those air boxes only clean them up so far.
All for now see you , have a nice weekend

Some small update on my Stug took on the work on the fenders and took decision to use the little brass "molding" is that the word?
anyway glued and bolt it .
After that it was the "antislide" plates. Glued them on and was pretty pleased with the result.
Did some more Stug read and there it got me
no picture in all my books or my ref picture from internet
had the "antislide" all the forward on the fenders. Zimmerit yes but no antislide
Even though I´m not a "rivet counter" I try to make it look as close to the real thing as possible . In my humble way and knowledge.
Just had to get rid off it, lucky me I only did the right side.
With that done I took on those fender support, try to make them a tiny bit more look a like.
This was the result . I countersink the screw , to be able to have some putty on .
All for now see you

Couldn´t resist so now both side´s are done, small adjustment left to do.
And take decision , how I´m going to use them all flat or with Schurtzen
Also want more "life" on the roof drill and tap 3mm to resemble the original more.
Will have 4st on longside and 2st per shortside to hold the roof. Sure overkill

Got some small detail work done on those Armorpax antenna boxes and together with Mark Lawson beautiful small antenna mount
worked great! I think
Hard to spot the difference I know but one side is now adjusted to a Stug III and not a IV.
One to go but I run out off material , so now have to wait for supply

No tank work today , only some wood work
Not sure if this go under fine carpentry
from Wine box to cargo box
After looking at very many picture off Stug´s with a cargo box there was as many different as there was pictures
mine is a hybrid off a couple , also didn´t wanted it to be to nice and factory build as they often seem´s to be done
at the Comp/Batt workshop .
So here ´s my guy´s delivery the box
"not to good picture sorry "
See you

Some really fine modelling going on here, your attention to detail is fantastic
Nice work on the cargo box and the schurtzen holders. Will you add the schurtzen plates too or just the railing for it?
Scale wise the plates would be nice, but on the other hand they will cover up a lot of details too.
I’m curious what you decide. Either way, great work!

Thank you Roy !
I will do those schurtzen plates , it gives you more options with vehicle to show up with or without
And if you don´t do much detail there , they come handy
Another
is to bolt on those holder to the railing also to give my even more option. not sure yet
