Hi Vince,
thank you for the nice comment. In the mean time i made some covers of the roof with all handles and weldings.
The hinge on the last photo is self made, because i cannot found a correct size.

Now i start with the first parts of the stowage bin box and the lid also with the catches. All the hinges are self made, because i found no parts in the correct size. The sheets are all in a thickness of 1mm.

Nice looking box and latches Martin! Did you photoetch your own latch parts? 1mm is heavy stock for those parts -looks great!.
Best regards,

Hi Robert,
hi Simon,
many thanks for your compliments. They are very welcome. In the mean time i made more progress, soldering the cover with half rounds and all the latches - they are not self made, but from Dragon for the Tiger1 - so i have modified a little.

Martin,
Fantastic work on the tool box. Interesting that the tools are latched down -inside the box! German war time over engineering at its finest? LOL
Your fenders look great - that is a tough solder job to add the round bead. Weld beads look awesome.
Great progress!

Hi Bob,
thanks for the kind words. Yes this is german thoroughness to mount the tools in the box!
There are some more progress on the modified covers from the roof with new holders, new periskopes and weldings for the commander cupola.

Hi Heiko,
Hi Florian,
