Thanks Fabian, i have finished the rear stowage rack, it dose not look much but was a tricky little part, i was in two minds to build from scratch but instead used the kit part and altered all the upright's, added the feet and tie down bars, all soldered and fairly strong, now to tackle the other stowage basket, all the best simon.

Thank you all, its always good to get feedback, good or bad, or constructive. The next step is to alter the rear stowage basket, the position of the two baskets is critical to allow the Roof to fit in, the rear basket only just fits the Michal matata rear body section, adjusting this is also tight, this is what makes this vehicle interesting to build, plenty going on all over the body section's. also cleaned up on the workbench, makes you feel better.
Fabian you will enjoy making your sdkfz 7 kit, get all your tools sharpened, thanks all, simon.

Roughed out the rear basket, moved all the upright's and added the feet, some tie down loops to add, clean up and paint, then on to the mudgaurds again, thanks for looking simon.

Great progress - lots if good modifications for me to try and implement on mine.

Thanks Dave for looking in, i have now completed this part of the build, Basket's, the bit that puzzles me is how to get all the electrics fitted in the vehicle and have access to them in the event of a breakdown, i am thinking of a removable rear end, body section. regards simon.

Fantastic work on the wire racks, no small task, especially with all the little mounting flanges. They look great. Seems like the majority of electronics can go in the rear locker - unless it is a solid block of metal. I don't have one of these models to know for sure. But under the hood (bonnet) and the rear locker should hide most of them? Enjoying your progress,

Thanks Fabian, Bob, David. my main direction is working out panel fit, it is a complicated structure at the front end, Bonnet, bulkhead, sides and if you want to add detail to the interior lot's have to be considered,so much different from a Tank kit, a lot more planning is needed on this build, The chassis and suspension goes together quickly, then you have to slow down and think, some of you more seasoned builder's that have not built one of these would like the kit, a challenge. regards simon.

I have been making the front fender, wheel arch support bracket's and finishing off the winch, the cable retaining strut's, the fender's need to be rubbed down to remove the casting mark's as the real item's were sheet steel, the more you look on this kit the more you see, plenty of little detail's, all for now regards simon.
