It's from a company near my Home.
There I'll also get my screws for the trak rubber pads.

Re: Florians FAMO build
Hi Florian,
Can you advise the size of those brass fittings? Pretty sure I can get just about anything here in Australia just need a size.
I would also be interested in knowing more about the rubber pad screws and if your provider would be happy to make more, maybe better price wise.
I intend to add the missing detail in the drive sprockets, that obviously also have rubber pads but we haven’t been given the option of showing the screws. I assume they would be the same size
Also do you have a paint code for the primmer you use?
Dave
P.S did you do anything about all the machining marks in the road wheels? Or does the paint tend to “mask them”

Re: Florians FAMO build
Good morning Dave,
the brass screws are M2.5 x 12 lower head. There are all sorts of M1 - M4 screws especially for model making at the company.
The screws for the rubber pads are custom-made. If you want some, let me know and I will add you to the list of interested parties.
Regards
Florian
P.S .: The primer is a special promer for alu. I cut some material with a dremel off the wheels. the rust red paint is the rust protection for steel, like on the original as ground. The reason why I paint al over.

Re: Florians FAMO build
Yes keep me informed please.
So you prime the aluminium first then over spray it with a red primer?
I know the Germans used red just wondered if you knew the RAL code for it for weathering the Famo at a later stage. You paint wearing off etc

Re: Florians FAMO build
Could you send a link re the brass fittings you used please, specifically the nuts as they are clearly smaller than those supplied by Armortek correct? They look more to scale

Re: Florians FAMO build
I'll put you on my list.
Its not realy red is a kind of red brown. It called Rostschutzhaftgrund. Unfortunatly I have no RAL number of that.
The link you want.
Nuts: https://knupfer.info/shop/index.php/deu ... 02-25.html
Srews: https://knupfer.info/shop/index.php/deu ... 25-12.html
Tell them greetings from me, than they would know what you want.

Hi Christoffer,
thanks for your recognition. I'll do my verry best. Yesterday the paint arrives, so I can make some finish paintwork on weekend.
