I wondered about fitting a star washer in for a bit extra grip. Seems like enough room
So I have finally been able to move the build into house and make progress.
I have read some conflicting advice about priming and filling. Much of the superstructure has already been etch primed (Halfords), and now I am putting it together and extended countersinking to allow filler to cover the screw heads.
The question is should I remove etch primer in areas that will be taking filler or will filler be ok on top of etch primer? I have milliput and isopon p38 as filling options.
How have others handled this please?
