The Panther A didn’t have the bullet traps this was introduced during the G production still they can be filled in or buy the first batch Kugleblende this is fine for the job.

Hi all,

Both the Panther and Tiger II used the Kugelblende 80 so the ball mount would be the same size.
Please note the different in front glacis angle, 55 for the Panther and 50 for the Tiger II.
The bullet trap configuration differs between the Ausf G and Tiger II and the Ausf A had only one row at the bottom of the opening, more of less distinctive and sometimes hidden under zimmerit.
Bare in mind all ball mounted Ausf A had zimmerit. Only a few Ausf A was without and they were all early A:s with the letterbox MG port.

Here is a photo of the Camp Borden Ausf A:

Hope this was of any use.

Kind regards
Kent

Yves,
This is a really exciting video, I was thrilled to hear there may be another Panther "runner" someday. Bruce has located a nearly new engine for it - in UK no less. Some guy had it sitting in his garage for the last 70 years. Is this series on the tele in UK?

Anyone know of the status of the Wheatcroft Panther?

Thanks for posting.

Hello Robert,

I dont know if there is already a new seasen of combat dealers, it
is the only new video i found. In Europe there is for the moment no new combat dealers.

About Wheatcroft his panther, maybe Mark knows, he was there to make the panther A kit.

Yves
Photobucket has disabled all accounts until you pay $400 per year. There is no way around it. I've had an account for years, but now suddenly its disabled (photo posting wise) until I pay them. I'm not opposed to paying a fee, but $400 is a bit high. I can still access my pictures but cannot post <or host> them to forums anymore. I've found another website to post pictures in the meantime.

You will have to find another means to host the pictures or upload them to your thread.
Best of luck
Bob
