here comes the next photos from the front cover with the hatches and self made castle nuts M2. The surface of the thick sheets is treated with Mr. Surfacer 500.

I agree. Germany had already gone metric by the time the Kingtiger was built. They should be meters and not feet. :D

the hull starts slowly looking like a hull with all the holders and the welding seams - kilometers of that in more than one row..........

But a King Tiger also needs some road wheels and suspension arms.

Here comes the final drive housing and the sprockets with some modifications like radii and some grinding for making a casting surface.

i have made some new sprocket rings with 9 teeth not 18 for the steel track, because the old one was aluminium - not so good for a steel track!!
There are also some details of the hub caps.
