Thanks frank,

They look like a much better option than the armortek standard motors which are well under powered. I have bought a second cent and will be doing something similar in it.

Cheers

Hello
Now my 2D design with the dozer blade and the hydraulic drive. The next step is the assembly control with a 3D drawing.

Hi Frank,

Great job!
I think the dozer blade kit was the same on the gun tanks as on the AVRE. If so the angle of the blade in the travelling/raised position is fractionally steeper than shown in your drawing.
I hope this photo explains this better.

AVRE Blade
A small change in the length of the swing arms will correct this.

The hinged flap on the top edge of the blade would not have been leaning aft but pointing vertical or slightly forward if the locking pins were fitted.

Keep up the good work!
cheers

Hallo Fabrice
Perfect! This picture I did not found. Do you have a picture which shows the dozer blade on the ground?

Hi All

As far as I can tell, Frank is using motors of almost identical power output and torque, as those that we offer as standard in the motion pack. Only the gearbox arrangement is different.

Hello Frank,

the cylinders are looking very good. Next time you could place a coin or better a Cup of coffee, to show the dimensions of the components for the dozer blade.

Frank, as Simon says. I've been enjoying every one of your posts, seeing how you're developing the project. I've found one photo of an Australian dozer tank in Vietnam, amongst my collection.
