for anyones interest, who may "still" be building a tiger.

the tiger is virtually complete, minus the electrics. Just waiting for a tow-hitch modification. Also i have included a photo of the early tiger hull fillets, cut and reworked by steve winstone.

Hi Simon

I am interested in making a tow hitch for my early Tiger that will work. Do you have any information or scale drawings drawings for the hitches?

Your Tiger is looking outstanding, everyone has set the bar high in there building, hope mine will be worthy whenever completed.

Keep those pictures coming.

I missed this thread. :oops: I am still building my early tiger, this thread is really eye candy. Superb paint job and modelling skills. :wink:

May I ask what paints did you use?

thanks for the feedback,i have enjoyed build photos placed on the forum and have picked up a lot of information. the color on my tiger is toyota biege cellulose 482 matt ,available in aerosole form or 1 ltr tins from auto paint supplies,a cheap revell airbrush and tamiya paints for the weathring.the pannier fillets i noticed in the archive from vince abbott and bovington tiger.the tow hitch i sent to steve winstone,theres not much he does not know about tigers and build details many thanks
