Re: What will be Armortek's next new offering?
I hope I can speak my mind, and I hope that what I write will be understood by all , although I do not speak English well.
I thought a couple of things:
the high demand that there has been in recent times of models such as the Sd.Kfz 222 and Panzer IV.
And just about the Panzer IV I have always argued that it is a model underestimated , especially from the point of view of the development of the project , an issue that might be of interest to Mark and Gill.
Let me explain:
how many tanks were developed on the basis of the Panzer IV?
Sturmpanzer IV ( Brummbar ) - Jagdpanzer IV - StuG IV - Panzer IV/70 - Hummel , Nashorn and so on.
In practice, the lower hull and running gear ( except for some small adjustment ) would already be done.
Then , taking up the project of the Panzer IV could satisfy the demand of customers who have not had the opportunity to buy this kit , and at the same time you have the opportunity to create a new model.
Even the idea of a half-track I like a lot (I love the support vehicles and personnel carriers ), but if I had to choose a military vehicle created from scratch , I'd rather not go back to a German vehicle probably would prefer a tank ally.
Finally , I personally do not like the post WWII tanks because it is always difficult to move during the demonstrations / performances , along with other WWII tanks . But I repeat : this is my personal opinion .

When the Pz IV Ausf H was announced, there was an option to buy just the lower hull and running gear, but I'm not sure if Armortek sold any of these, rather than the complete kit. It's my understanding that the majority of customer who buy Armortek kits, simply build them as supplied and don't go the same lengths to adjust and detail their models as some on here have done.
I have bought some spare Sherman running gear, which I intend to turn into an M10, but it's an incredibly long winded process to build an upper hull from scratch, with the gun mechanism, the turret etc, unless you have ready access to a well kitted out workshop.

Re: What will be Armortek's next new offering?
In truth, my speech was aimed precisely at Armortek, that Mark and Gill.
Having the lower hull and running gear already made, they could build a new tank on a Panzer IV without having to redesign everything from scratch.
Maybe I did not explained well.
The list I made was a list of tanks that could be made starting from the Panzer IV.
I hope to be able to explain.

My opinion is some as Iacopo Di Giampietro. Pz.IV rolling chassis + Pz.IV version. Why Panther G early? Armortek Panther G is excelent chassis for all Panther G (model is mix between all G version). Panther A will be easy way for new Armortek model.

There's enough German Armour out there to stock a medium sized shop. I say Russian, American or British,A Churchill would be good.
