It was a good day, I'm glad we decided to go. Although I wasn't confident enough to take the Cent for a spin near all those beautifully finished models
It was good to meet Ian and Kevin, hope to see your models next time.
I didn't get a chance to find out who's two-tone Cent it was parked near the bridgelayer, someone's been quietly hard at work :)

Awesome day, awesome video!
For those who sadly couldn't make it, you missed a corker.
This time, all I had to do was turn up and enjoy the day. I must therefore extend a massive thank you to Gill, Mark and team for the organisation, and also to all Armortek owners who went to so much trouble bringing their models in order to provide such a spectacular display.

Hi all,

I would like to echo all the positive comments about the Armortek show and say a big thanks to Gill and mark for all their hard work in getting the show up and running at the tank museum.

Sandra and I thoroughly enjoyed being there and meeting up with so many of the builders we have chatted with on the forum.

The museum was a great venue and provided plenty of interest away from the models but also gave us a great forum to show off our models to Joe Public. Hopefully there may be some future builders inspired by their visit.

I am just sorting photo's out too so will post some when I see what came out best. Hopefully plenty of Centurion reference shots.

Can't wait for next time, our B+B is sorted and we found the best fish restaurant on the Dorset coast in Weymouth so supper will be wonderful again (seeing Sandra with a 1/2 pound ball pein hammer smashing a crab open was worth the trip alone  )

Back to the workshop now I am re-energised to complete the build.

All the best everyone, and Paul I was very sorry to hear about your incident and hope things come right soon.

Mick

To Mark & Gill,

Thank you so much for presenting putting on a fabulous show.
The biggest turn out of models I've ever seen.
Great idea to have your big show at The Tank Museum Bovington.

I enjoyed meeting up with other fellow model builders again and new members too of course.

All I can say and repeat what everybody else has said.......

Looking forward to your next big show next year.

I must bring a finished or unfinished model tank next time.....

Cheers for now

A very pleasant day at the Museum, great to see all the models on display. Upon my return home, which took nearly five minutes, I unloaded my Tiger and dismantled it ready for it's rebuild, re-spray and retrofit, I bought it assembled as some know. Hopefully I will get time over the winter period to complete my project as I now have all the parts required, I think.
Look forward to the next one!!

Thank you for posting the pictures for those of us on the other side of the pond. The video by Rich is awesome - thanks for making and posting it. Its great that Armortek still creates something new for all of us to enjoy. I would have liked to see a few more pics of the Sturmtiger. Also the bridgelayer is amazing. The SDKFZ7 towing an 88, which in turn was towing a 222 was a hoot. Thanks Armortek for making such great kit that keeps us all in our childhood. Great work on all the models guys (and gals). Someday we need to have an Armortek US day!
Best regards,
Bob
