Good idea, will look into it. It will take more work though as white will need so muich more detail on it. However the end result will be good.

Re: No 012 - Bedroom Build
You need to paint regular paint scheme first then whitewash over leaving some of the original showing. Look up techniques with hair spray. Interesting.

Welldone Bob,
Dont loose any of your preciouse bits in the move and enjoy the
paint and rebuild, look forward to seeing it progress again.
I was just reading through your replys and I was going to say look for Paul's
Tiger,because I saw it in 2011,very nice.
Another inexpensive little book, all photo's of Tigers and about 12 are winter
camo is.

Re: No 012 - Bedroom Build
I'm still undecided. The burden of such decisions weighs heavily upon my shoulders. Hell who am I kidding!.
I'll checkout Paul's and I better get that book.
Many thanks for your input

Re: No 012 - Bedroom Build
I found i had quite a twist in the turret surround that left the outside wall leaning outwards from the top and consequentially the gun frame and gun sat at a slight angle. Also the gap on the turret roof was too big. It was quite liveable but it annoyed me
So a pair of suspension spring tensioners came to the rescue. I’m gonna bolt in the frame from front then fill the bolt holes, and add a tension bar just bellow the turret top edge at the front of the turret.
