Simon,
Excellent work on the inner wheels. The details will look incredible. I'm embarassed I didn't even paint (only primer) all of my inner wheels, much less go to the detail you a going to. Loving every post!

Your wheels look different - I dont remember the hole through the center so big? I thought there was an oring between the wheels. Did you change the design and bore them out?

PS the bump stops are incredible too. Really nice work.
Kind regards,
Bob

Hi Simon,

Excellent work, you´re becoming very good with the lathe and rotary table/indexing head.

Will do the Panther myself some day in the future but first some other models.

Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the next photos.

Cheers Per

Hi Simon, are you going to have the night scope working, there are lots of small infrared led to be found, most of the small control units for TV ect use them, it would make it look authentic

Hi Jeffrey

can you explain how to assemble a working system?
The explanation should be very very "abecedarian" :( because I am very very unfriendly  with electronic things.
Regards

P.S. does the system allow the view by a micro camera :?:

Hi Pierluigi, when I said working I meant having a working infrared led inside the lamp.

wheel progress, my lathe skills are limited and slow, but enjoyed getting the wheels to this stage, it adds a bit extra to the final look, 32 nuts and bolts added to each wheel, one more to do then onto some more hull details. the colour combination looks very stark at the moment, i might weather a section just to see the result, see if it all tones down o.k. simon.

Simon,
The extra work you put into the inner wheels is stunning. Really nice work. You are making the rest of the Panther owners jealous! Keep the pix coming of your progress.

MUST

STOP

LOOKING

Can't resist the urge to pull mine apart and redo everything to keep up with this new, standard level of detailing.

Seriously, beautiful as always Simon.

thanks tim, when you think how much you can squeeze out of these kits if you want to, instead of just building them out of the box why not have a scale replica of the real thing!or as near to it,cheap fun for 2-3 years of interest. best regards simon

This paint job reminds me of a hippy bus, not a tank. See how it looks when all the wheels and tracks are on
