My first choice would have to be a Churchill due to the vast scope it offers with all the funnies that were produced or a Centurion as that was the first tank I served on.
But with the cost of there in mind with the currant financial climate I think I would like to see a Matilda,Comet Panzer 1 or 11 or one of german heavy prime movers.
That's my two pence worth.
Looking forward to seeing you all and hopefully more new faces again at next years open day.

The Pz I and Pz II are being suggested a lot. I have always have had a fondness for these two models in my 1/35 collection.

Presumably these would be very cost effective in both the production and retail price area in these tougher economic times that most of us are still experiencing.

Ideally I would like a complete set of Pz I, Pz II, Pz III and Pz IV. A very strong developmental trend in evidence here in German Tank design evolution.

What about a Crusader.....Used in the desert, worked with Matildas and had a reputation as a reliable tank. Just a thought but for all the allied buffs
a nice "big wheel" option.

I personally favor WWII vehicles. A StuG III, Elefant, or Hetzer would suit me perfectly.

On a re-release, though, I would definitely purchase a Panzer IV or Panther (hint)

I think it's time for the T-34 to make it's appearance.

The T-34 was a magnificent design which revolutionised tank design in it's day and was the catalyst for the production of the German Panther, which I am sure ppl here would be aware of. It is also a bloody good looking beast.
I want one after the Pz I, II, III (done), IV and Panther.

Sorry Dale. I had forgotten about the 38t. I'm not much for early war hardware but that would make a nice Marder MIII conversion. Nice small size too. That would be hard for me to resist.

Also, since rereleases were brought up, I could really use a Sherman for a Firefly conversion to go against the Panther.

I'll take the Stug III off my list as I am now set in that department.

Okay. Here's an "outside the box", lower price-point idea for an Armortek, all new type of entry-level kit.

What if only the lower hull, running gear and tracks are offered for sale as a kit? Leaving the upper hull to the builder and giving the aftermarket masters an opportunity to contribute. The hull would obviously be something that was a platform for many variants, IE, the Panzer 38t, Panzer IV, or Sherman. Perhaps even motor and sound is included in the package price. This might be a nice product to fill the gap between static, skratch-builders and "all metal" RC builders.

The 38t is just one example of a hull and running gear that keeps on giving











Sorry if it's a crazy idea but it is completely new and different. Also, I think there is a huge gap in the market place that is just waiting to be filled.
