Hi Richie .. Is your wife out of the house at the moment ??? What about the study ... We understand !!. The first thing I'm going to do with my King tiger is to replace the lower floor and Panniers with Alloy . I realy like the rebait all around the top edge for the deck . Being one of the Swedes to get this kit and looking at some of your photos I´m getting worried about the scale thickness of the top of that rear armour plate. It looks like there´s a milled ledge so I´m wondering what the dimension is at the question mark (see below).

Hello guys
The rear plate on the model is machined so as to be level with the deck. To achieve the absolute correct rear plate top angle as shown in the photos and Per's sketch, the top edge could be file back. The two pannier side rear inclined edges (up from the lifting holes) would need to be slightly modified to suit. In all case there is sufficient material on the model parts to achieve this. The resulting rear plate apparent thickness (even allowing for the milled rebate) would be 10.8 mm. This equates to a full size plate thickness of 65mm. Further thickness could be added to the front edge using filler, to absolutely accurate, but some minor trimming of the rear deck plates might be required. Just one of those things that no one spotted on the prototype, and I missed all together.

Hi Guys
From my very first mid tiger to this, all i can say is WOW
Armortek has came along way, and geting better and better. if their was'nt things to do on it we would all just get board :(also we like to put differnt touches to their models
.and this has alot of detail parts included.
i just cant keep away from this kit, keep up the great work Gill & Mark.

Well KT will land in the south of sweden tonight and im rubbing my fingers, cleaning up the workspace thou its small and limited.
And im also cleaning up the house to grease up my wife a bit
, you have to be smooth so to speak.
All of the pre assembly items are bought and just awaits the beast.
Went and bought the thingies for the central grease piping im going to apply on it
.
So about miday tomorrow ill be sitting on the porch with coffey and with a big smile on my face just waiting for the UPS to arrive.
And i even know my number on it
