LOL
Kent, I was just in the process of doing the same thing. Yoshitomo, It worked in my post preview as well. weird.
All of the gas powered and the engineering stuff that goes with it is just amazing to me!

This gun elevation and traverse system is one mean looking bit of engineering. I believe that the JP had a traverse of about 5-10 degrees on the gun. I am currently reworking the gun elevation on my SHerman to try and get a wobble free mechanism as I think this is important for a model. A gun bouncing around while the model moves does not look good.

you are right, the bevel gears was damaged and the best solution is to use clutch as you suggest, but I dont know if I will do it.
The Tiger will remain a static model.
The problems with the engine regarded the Electronic ignition and probably my ignorance of such engines.
In my small experience and for my ability, I prefer electric motors and suspensions with torsion bar.
hello alfredo..since your tiger is a static model know..would you be interested in selling me the gun elevation and turret turn parts.. i been trying to locate these parts for 2 years now..thank,mike

Hi Michael,
I am sorry but the engine, the gun elevation and turret turn parts has already been sold to a friend, here in Italy.

Were Stuart tanks supposed to outperform Lamborghinis? The video lends force to my earlier suggestion that a 'performance' model of a modern tank (Challenger, Leopard etc.) with substantially excessive power could form the basis for exciting cross country racing formula. Not realistic but fun.
