Hi Brian what's up dude, trouble is with dents........the Armortek body work is built like a "brick out house" and so does not dent to scale but I will have a go when it gets its first outing maybe next week !

I love the vinyl seat look! Just like the seats of the old vintage trains we used to have around here. Looks like you managed to capture the bullet hole in the passenger seatback from when gefreiter Schmidt dropped his rifle in the back seat as well!

Is the curved stripe plastic or metal?

Hi Chang, well spotted. It's plasticard you could use very thing brass and cut with scissors but .7mm plasticard is very convenient, it being translucent so you can trace the outline. The original 1/1 had it to cover the discrepancy gap between the fender and the lower engine cover, and I had a big gap left over from fitting the removable side engine covers up a tad to fit the bonnet correctly.

A good expedient would be to draw around the lower side cover profiles on a piece of paper (use your build manual spare page so that you keep it safe with the vehicle as every one will be different) and use that accurate profile to make the fillet piece later on when you have assembled your fenders.

Some vehicles also had a rubber (split tube) capping that was fitted between the upper hull lower joint between the long rear fenders but I have not added that as yet.

The "Military Machines" is the dogs dangley bits and has been my Bible, I have also been using the "Nuts and bolts" vol 12, which is the next best reference book although the binding is falling apart but that could just be use.
My favorite atmospheric Famo photo of all time is on the cover of "The History file" ...... the pi--ed off and fed up look on the faces of the crew, all keen to get on but have ended their day bogged down up to the axles in soft ground!

I have the 'Waffen-Arsenal' and nuts and bolts Vol.12, which is my favorite. an good overview and allot of detail photos. As well the original pictures last but not least.
for me enough, because if you have too much of it, you maybe confused about your sign of your model. On the waraction every thing was posible. The soldiers made his vehicle right for her needs in the field. So nearly everything is posible.
