Sounds interesting, and how about a BMW Radial too for an FW190, or a large Pratt R-1830 as used on the P-47 Thunderbolt! As interesting as the Aviation theme sounds, the level of detail and need for accuracy exceeds Armorteks capabilities in my opinion. Building tanks with limited detail is one thing, but the finese necessary to do the aircraft detail well....is totally different. Armortek will build what they already have planned, surveys are fun, but don’t hold your breath.

An airplane- (or perhaps tank-) -engine may be nice, but it's higher if it is able to run, like a running tank model is much higher than a static display. My avatar shows a life running 14 cylinder double radial engine that fits an 1/6 scale airplane model. I intended to build a Gee Bee with it, but before this got true I changed from airplanes to tanks. The engine rotates a propeller of 40 inches diameter with 5,000 rpm.

YES......How about the Continental R975 Radial to run the M4A1 Sherman tank.....two more items they’ll NEVER make!

Beautiful model Gerhard

A model airplane rarely hits the ground "hard" tail first.

After my first and only excursion into the world of birds, on return that bag of bits was firmly sealed.

A single stick in one hand and a can/bottle/sandwich in the other. Large scale R/C modelling ambition..Tanks... problem solved.

Hi guys,

the camouflaged cat is Reinholds Leopard II A7 in 1/4 scale, the other pussy is Peti, his tank commander.

Peti is the only cat I know with its own tank crew beret (sorry for the blurry photo).

Nah, let's keep it 1/6. They are easy to carry around...

In my proposal I meant the model type, not the scale..........

For myself I can't use 1/4 scale because those models wouldn't pass the window of my basement, the only possibility for my tanks to enter or leave the room.
