3mm thick handles will translate to 18mm thick in real life at 1/6 scale so really, 3mm is probably too thin

Thank you all for your replies.....I will give the little blighters (handles) one more coat of looking over. They just seemed a little 'chunky'......

Hello, I seem to spend more time 'thinking' than 'doing'. Anyway, I decided that the hatch handles are okay so I fitted them. I had a go at producing the prisms for the periscopes from an offcut of perspex. They are not exact.....but near enough for me. (and its my tank)

I also made the periscope covers to sit higher on the deck. Slow steady progress......Mick

Hi Mick
Nice to see your progress on the Turret top.
Dont worry too much about the thinking, they havent worked out how to Tax us on
it yet
If you are still using Photobucket, try this next time for multiple pics.
Inside your photo bucket album choose your pics by holding the mouse curser over
the pick and when the box opens up click in the little box to put a tick in it and move
your mouse away to the next pic, this will have outlined your choice in blue.
Repeat for all your pics that you want to choose.
Then scroll down the page to "choose action" and click on this which brings up some
choices, choose generate link codes for selected.
A big box will appear Look for IMG for bullitin and Forum and click on the Full Size
option, the box there will go yellow for a bit and you will see copied appear for a
couple of secs.
In your Forum posting write what you want and then when
the curser is underneith on a different line Press CTRL and V at the same time and
this copies the codes to your message.
Go to Preview and you should see your pics appear dont forget to press Submit after
I've done that and wondered why my posting wasnt on the Forum
Its quicker than typing out these instructions with one finger
Regards
Phil

Hello Phil, thanks for the advice. I tried using the 'upload attachment' and saved two or three photo's.....nothing happened when I tried loading onto the Forum......so I have submitted photographs one by one.
I use Photobucket so I will give your advice a try.
I am building the Jagd' slowly but surely......and trying to add small additions. I have one or two add-ons from Steve Winstone, and more parts to order from Armorpax. I will be purchasing a spray gun, (it's on my Christmas wish list) Mother Christmas doesn't know that yet.
I am still following your Tiger build.....best wishes, Mick.

Thanks Tim, thanks Phil, it's slow going.....but enjoyable. I'm pleased that the 'garden' will look after itself now Autumn has arrived. Some of my additions will be 'stand off scale', metalwork is not a strong skill with me.....more used to Balsa wood.
Fitted the weather strips.......

Beautiful build. where did you get the welds from?

Hello Bob, the welds are 'Milliput' types. There are some excellent 'how to do welds' on this Forum.....so I am following the Forum advice.
I find it so much easier to add bits and pieces, like welds, while the panels are loose, before attaching the panels to the upper hull.....Mick
