Whilst we are on the subject of KT's firing, if you have a firearms licence and a private range the Armortek KT is a fantastic platform for a simulated 88mm cannon, this video is as close as we can get to the real thing, please do not try this at home!

Hello Phil,
thats interesting to see and very impressive. A lot more smoke, wow
But pretty obvious nothing for the public
I tried to get the smoke of the engine smokers transfered to the barrel but with no success, so the option with the cig was born
Best regards,
Uwe

Uwe, your creation is just brilliant, one of the best I have seen and especially effective in half light, and totally legal!
Regards Phil.

Cheers Dunc, it was quite scary making the VT, anything that is radio controlled and has a live firing content even blanks keeps the mind focused somewhat! ...Phil.

Something I stumbled across on the tube, it's a mix of old film, video made to look old and VT of 1/6th models.....nice, some double take moments which make you look again and again.
And a few of my maybe unseen period photos to peruse.

It's from Modelcollect's 'Fist of War' fanciful 1946 range. They have done a number of 'paper panzers' and then let their imagination run riot with walker tanks etc. (All in 1/72). I have the 1/72 version of the P1000 'Ratte' sitting in a rather large box waiting to be built and I will probably add this cut down K5E on two E75 chassis as it appeals to me
