Frank, many, many congratulations. I've watched with huge admiration as you've mastered this complex design and I'm glad to have been able to help in a small way. Thankfully, the Tank Museum has two and two halves Meteor engines on display, to photograph and measure. You are right,due to the RR Merlin basic design the RR Meteor is a very small engine. I believe that the first service was in the Comet.
