Back to work on the Tiger after a long break. Finished off a few items on the exterior and interior. Just small items.

No decision on transport yet. I will take measurements at the weekend. I think the trailer option is best. Yours is perfect. Is your homemade box removeable? I have a motorbike and woild like to stick it on a trailer going on holidays sometimes. If you have any plans for your design I would be greatful. I hope to get it mobile over the next few weeks. I will get the exterior detail finished first though. I have a field close to home. Close enough to push the tank there on a trolly.

Found some brass half round strips so soldering them to the exhaust covers to give a more correct look. Photos soon, I hope. Also attached my aerial holder tube. Bob, I will go over again with dark yellow before camo. A bit of research needed there I think.

Hello John, the motorcycle trailer adaptation, to transport and carry my Comet to the various 'shows' was pretty much a design, by day to day, trial and error method.
In fact I ordered my tank from Armortek, based on an idea in my mind, that I would be able to use the trailer. I never thought my car was a viable option.
There are no drawn plans as such, but I made a simple photographic record. I will search my photo's and PM them to you.
The one drawback, is that the box container is fixed. Fortunately, my garage is a workshop, so the trailer sits where my car would normally reside.
The box is 3/4 ply and is bolted to a frame of fence posts 3x3. Very heavy, however with the weight of the tank on board, it sits firmly on the road during transit.
I will PM with the details such as they are.....Mick

Thanks Nick, Just to mention, clasps are from Steve Winstone. I got them as unassembled. If I had'nt recently had my eyes tested and got my first glasses I would not have been able to assemble them. Got the hang of them now after assembling 16 of them. Enough for a few more Tiger interiors.

HI John
i like your camo pattern it realy does look good now , both inside and out ,i have found that the comoflage stage gets me very nervous untill i get the first patterns down i dont usually go with any example i just go with the flow so to speak :D ,i think thats why i get a bit jumpy i tend to make it up as i go along .What is your method of doing it ,Because you have done a fine job on it ,all the best,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, nick
