dont ask i spent 1 hour this morning try to get the tracks to work

i forgot last night i had taken it out of gear to push it.

Then it came to me what i did....... now sweet as cake but re all make mistakes.........

That is one fantastic photo . Duncans a lucky chap but I'm glad it's still up here so I can see it running. Is this another one on it's way to Paul's workshop for it's final fitting and custom paint job or is Duncan going to attempt it himself
Glad you got the Sherman as that too is a superb tank. Now you can have your own tank battles

Ant, I dont know what he as planed for painting, i still need to finnish of the electrics when i get the sound back again, also mg flash ,lights ect.
The only battles i will be going is lisa with me , when she see the grass
and i nearly bust a sandstone mushroom i made

Is the Sherman equipped with modern tracks very similar to the one used by Leopard 2? What's the story behind it?

Me and the Sherman go back a long way. As I was emailing Clive about this years ago when he was selling it, but in the end I ended up buying John Goodman's tiger. The story behind this Sherman is all Clives great work on the build. Paul Morris was the third person to have it, and he did the great paintwork to the present day. He produced some great work as well on the painting. I am now the proud fourth owner, and I beleive this has never broken a track. The track pads are glued on, which are rubber. You can knock it out of gear if you want to push it. I am going to run it this Sunday, and then after that I'll rip all the electrics out of it and do my own thing. Also will have Thomas Benedeni's sound unit instead of the Tamyia. I'll send you some picutres when I'm doing the wiring and making the new control box.
For all the people who may get confused over this, this is not an armortek model or running gear.
Keep watching on Sunday for Clive's new release - his scratch build T34. Totally amazing.

Yes, another great day out, and once again the company was spot on, couldn't wish for a better gang. A few photos of Clive's superb scratch build T34, doing a balancing act on the logs, as well as Ian's and my tank. Hope you like the photos.

Even though I'm thousands of miles away I really want to say thanks for posting pix of your tanks and meets. Its really enjoyable to see. I esp love the scratch built hardware. The armotek tanks are great too <and are what started the fascination with big metal tanks for many of us> but scratch built really takes the hobby to a new level.

The T-34 is another absolute masterpiece from Clive. How long does it take to build one of these from scratch Clive? You seem to turn them out in 1-2 months. Is everything manually machined or do you use CNC? Its taken me 2 years to build a kit.

every part is hand built/machined, the T34 was a fairly easy subject and took about three month's to build, Ian one of our members built the track links for me Big Thanks Ian, they are a mixture of bright steel and stainless steel, all the rest of the tank is steel/aluminum, now working on the next secret project bob so keep watching the events section.

Bob,its not a cnc machine, but clive has plenty of tools,machines and he can turn his hand to any tank build, i think anyway his work just gets better and better .
