Yeah that reference kit was way out man.
Time for an interim stock check/look see of the model so far.
Bazooka plate hanging claws, this is an early mk but were they all hung like this?
How about these weathering examples?
Adding interest like previous weld witness marks, these models have large open sections with not much going on so this kind of detail breaks it up a little.
One for Mutley, I want to add your DMS melted sole imprint on one of the exhaust shields but I can't find a British boot to make it!

Nice example of adding a little interest? The stiffener piece has been moved at some point ( probably after some damage repair ) but the weld witness marks are left showing. The old weld has been ground off but the arc penetration cavities are untouched.

Not much tactical/use wear but a good deal of the environment! This has had some thought put into it, it's very difficult to get this to look right in scale. I bet Simon could replicate it.

Hi Phil
You don't need a DMS boot print just a boot shape of melted rubber bud.
Sargent keep awsy from the exhaust son it gets fxxxxxx hot.
Me yup no problem sarge.
Two minutes latter opps left boot knackered got a P1954 for a new pair of boots.
Sargent xxxxxxx ccfdc ect now our breakfast is going to stink of rubber.
My bad 😆
