Nice to know you all enjoy the build photos, trial fitted Mike Stannard's MG34 Mount. What a lovely after market part this is, the level of detail is un-rivaled.
I will concentrate on the motion pack now for a while.
I wish someone like you would do a tutorial on painting/ weathering at 1/6 scale.
I think a number of us have some experience at painting/ weathering at smaller (1/35 scale) and there are quite a lot of excellent online tutorials covering the subject, but not sure how it should be translated to work at this much larger scale.
thanks david,i think its easier to paint at this scale, you can use plenty of options, and retouch detail easier, an airbrush is a must have item, many thanks simon manning.
Tracks on at last, motion pack fitted. Everything seems ok, some adjustments required on front mud guards and side skirts for clearance of the tracks. Not far off a good test run.
is there such a thing as nearly finnished, sound to fit ,a bit more paint detail to add,and general tweaking, and tension the tracks up,and then put it somewhere to collect some dust, very enjoyable, thanks for looking simon manning.
Absolutely fantastic job, Kurt would be pleased to see such a wonderful replica of his KT.
Well done, can't wait to see it moving
Thanks Antony
