The suspension is now fixed.
It was the connecting torsion rod toward the arm that had snapped the plain grinded surface. Dont ask me how but it did.
Im redoing my kitchen so i havent had the time or the will to go down and work on my baby:(.
And besides it looks like the battle of the bulge in there with furniture and stuff. So its a suitable place for the KT at the moment hehe.

Happy trails
Fredrik

Hi Ed.
The above is a awesome choise, but if im not mistaken there is also anotherone out on the market. With the big crosshair for the
Aerial targets and with the round ammo pouches that ive seen on some pics.

Per or Kent might be more into the right speccs on wich you should use for the type of number and year you are going to build.

I know there were some differences, but im not quite sure.

And thnx for the kind words about my build, as im worse again there aint much going on on the build front.
Regards
Fredrik

Well after a cleanup in the workspace, wich took sometime :).
I sat down and looked at the KT and planned and looked at all the solutions that have evolved in the forums.
Im goin to pick up some of them wich i like.

The rear deck will be a completely overhauled, as the vents will be remade and as we do that the measurements will be more correct.
But that means that all plates will have to be redone, there should be more room in the gap between the panels between the vents and so. If you look at the real thing you will see this quite clear.
Havent figured out a way to realign the deck so i will have to consult Per or Stefan i guess.
The turret will have to wait til everything is fixed, its almost done anyway just Mike S cupola to fix and mount plus some minors :).

Will post some pics soon.

After weeks of just passing by my dear, i finally sat down and did some work!
Roadwheels!!! still need the last 3 done.
Have totally forgoten how peaceful the work is. Then its the left side zimmerite and backplate that needs to be done, i hope i will get my SUPERB exhausts and shields in metal from Stefan K to round that up.
Going to apply the same subframe for the deck plates and the same setup for the front hatchplate as Dale have done it but im also will in some manner tighten the space up inbetween the plates as i have a far to wide gap there "about 1,5 mm" and do the conical lock bolts for it.

Hopefully all goes well :).
My workspace have shrunk but as the old misses back in the house with the kids im a happy tanker!!!

Best wishes to you all
Freddie

Hi all.
Have dissasembeled the tracks on the KT du to a breakdown, the running gear have goten to much stress as in IRL and as in Tim´s panther saga been going into the hull :(.

I thought this wouldent happen, but obvioulsy it did. I have now cut wit a mill a nd made a groove and put a c- clip about 0.5 mm out on the axle to prevent the axle to moove inwards.

The back deck is still overhauled!! but ive done a paper stencil of what i want of it. So it needs to be watercut and IF Stefan sends his grills and fans i can get the proper measurements done...nudge nudge :)

And to the ones asking about weather and tracks..........snow or moist....its a not a no good go. mines been cloging and getting corrosion and sticking together unfortionately.

been trying all of lubricants :(

Im thinking of making own pins of Hardened steel and real rings and Pins to secure track pins just like irl, instead of the pins of today as they collect debrie and crap onto the tracks...and cuts my hands :)

Pics will follow as i have all in good shape

Hope to see you there.

I met up with Stefan koenitzer and got my new grills and vents and exhausts.....They just blew me away so as when i got home i instantly started on them :)

The scale is spot on and the work he and Per Sonnervik have put into them were worth the wait, so i started to fill the stripes from the 3d printer with Mr.Surfacer and will sand them and do the armor treatment on them.

Stefan is also developing the fan blades that will be under the round grills and im going for them aswell.

So now i can dig into the rear deck and get that straightened out the way i want it :)

Here is some eye candy

So if all goes well they will be coated and painted, and i do look forward to do the exhausts with rust and wear..

Happy trails all tankers aout there.

So after all have dried up i started to fix the exhausts with putty and mr surfacer and sanded them to the point where i thought they looked good.

And why not apint them while im at it :) and do the layers of rust and smoke on em..
Here is how just 2 layers looked !!!! amazing

Image
First a coat of metal color.

Then i added first layer of pigments, dired it looks quite good
I will apply approximately 6 or 7 layers before im done :)
