Hello at all
The electric power supply for the searchlight. Only for one or two times per year, a Hand Switch is ok for me.
All the best
Frank

Stunning model, to say the least!
I particularly like the oil stain and wear on the dozer blade. The model would do well in the "real or fake" section!

Sorry to hear that
Quicker to buy another SD card I think
Leave it as an archaeological find for the future.
Adrian.

Hello at all
I like to build the engine compartment.
That I can find the right dimensions, I need some real sizes. I know that the cylinder bore is 137,4 mm.
If someone know the desistence from bore tot bore, please let me know. It would be very helpful!
If you know other sizes, please let me know.
Hello Adrian
I had found the SD cart direct beneath the sound box.
All the best
Frank

Frank -
I have a reprint of the Royal Armoured Corp's User Handbook for the Centurion Mark 3, originally published in 1953. Does that cover your build ? (given that many Mark 3's were upgraded to Mark 5's). If so, I can PM you some scans of both the technical numbers and the engine layout.
Incidentally, it has the cylinder bore as 137.17mm for a Meteor Mk. 4B engine.. 12 cylinders, in two banks with a 60 degree Vee.
Hope this helps, and stay well,
Chris

Frank, if you mean the bin on the glacis plate, it was for stowage of a hood for the driver which kept the worst of the rain and spray from blinding him when driving opened up. It was very rarely used.
