Thanks Nick and Bob for the nice comments. I have not been completely idle lately. I have been working on the commander's seat for the late tiger. I hope it will be fully functional but probably not spring loaded. I will add some pictures of progress soon.

Hello John
Why have you got an SS infantry uniform. Should have pink piping on lapels and cap

Hi Lee, I thought it was other way round. Wermacht pink piping on jacket and white on SS oficers?
I'm no expert. I only made the seat, not the uniform.
If it's wrong blame Soldier Story. The 1:1 repro in my wardrobe dos'nt have pink either except on shoulder boards.

Thanks Nick and Yves also.
Happy enough with it. Gave up trying to figure a way to make the lever operate the seat catch. The springs sre for appearance only. I want to get everything fitted now. Just a few small items to do and mske a mechanism for the escape hatch. Then onto the radio operator and driver compartments.
Nick, i was yhinking about the hinged mudguards on yhe Panzer IV. There were visible springs between the flaps and footboards. I have found a useful source of small springs inside pens. The push top ones.

Hi John
White piping was infinity. Red was artillery . Black was pioneer maintenance. Green was recon. Blue was medical. The list goes on. Don't get me wrong you did get White panzer divisions but they was whermach. Artillery wasn't just field guns they had attached to them was the Jäger divisions or jagdpanthers nashorns wespe. On the crushers the silver band on the peak was for commisoned officers and non commissioned offices had non.
The seat is fantastic as normal.
