Hi Gary
It could be a hold down hole so the plate could be mounted
on the cnc jig for machining .

Hi Gary
I have a very early 2006 release panther g I brought as a kit and have the same hole in the same position I was a little bemused as to its purpose and still in the dark about it as there’s no reference to it or a part that references to the said hole

Hi All
Haven't managed to get very much done lately works been ridiculous
Managed to get the hatch details fitted from Armorpax and rear deck lifting hooks.
Also managed to finish off priming inside of the turret so it can be rebuilt along with the rear Deck.
Cheers
Gary

Hi All
Slowly moving forwards, managed to get the rear deck finished minus a few fixings
Needed to add 4x1 mm stainless washers to each one of the 4 air intakes to get them to sit correctly
Also managed to make the suspension bump stops
Now back onto the lower hull started to fit the rear panel fixings and weld beads still a lot to do..

Hi All
Filling on lower hull done, more weld beads to add..
Suspension to do now thankfully I numbered them..
Memory is shocking it was only January that I was working on them
Going to use cap screws rather than grub screws bit more involved but hopefully work out ok
Then get the wheels on and hopefully resemble a tank!

Looking good Gary.
You've certainly got on with the build.
Yeah, the airs too damp really to get any major painting done now.
I will see if I can get some more of my track links primed over the Christmas break though if the weather turns mild at all.
Start again next year then.

Hi Malcolm
To be honest not to unhappy to where I've got on the build
It's been a journey struggled at some points but pretty pleased with the result hopefully have it finished around Easter..
Have to say you're build is looking superb very nice clean build
The Tracks ohh yeah those and the wheels just took forever!
I see you are painting all the links individually, you have more patience than me have to say
Leaving the Tracks to be painted when I send it off

Considering its our first large scale build we've both done pretty good so far I think.
You so more than me with the nearness to completion.
Easter would be good to get the tank rolling but I think for me I've got maybe another 12 months of the project left, unless I retire from full time work
As you say there are parts that are so tedious and take so so long to do you really have to just switch off and get on with it I think.
Time really is not an issue with these beauties anyway.
I must say that I am loving the project and when you step back to look at the progress made it is very rewarding.
