Re: RT Late Tiger One
I want to try to use fiberoptics 3mm in the brasstube.
Dont know if it works, but I do not like to see a led bulb in front of the MG.
Have a nice day
Robert
Ps. these resin prints are only tests, not up to quality.

I do not know Vince, but I got a idea in my head.Vince Cutajar wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 1:14 pmIs fibre optics bright enough to make it visible in daylight?
Vince
And it will not go away until I try it. For better or worse.
Looking for some very bright led in some good color.
Wish me luck.

Wish you luck with the fibre optic experiment. I believe Steve Winstone did the same at one time.

Re: RT Late Tiger One
I did get some feeling for Brass work.
So I decided to make the new ones with the right length.
But I have to make some changes on some machines to be able to repeat folds in the brass skirts.
But is a enjoyable task.
Have a nice hobby time.

Re: RT Late Tiger One
Small update.
I finally bend all 16 mudguards, and they are all the same.
Guess if I'm surprised. Yes I did it.
A friend should have eight of them. He also has an early Tiger with the wrong length of mudguards.
Have a nice weekend to you all.

Re: RT Late Tiger One
I ordered and received my new springs for the track tension. The new ones are at 335N.
An update since the first ones I had in the Tiger.
Drive without me getting any track deflection, yet is it probably best to mention.
Video coming soon on the test drive.

Re: RT Late Tiger One
Love the sound file you are using.
At 2:40 there is a servo operating a set of gears. What's that for?

The sound file is original Benedini.
The servo is operating the volume control.
I dont know how to do it in another way. Would love to receive tips on this.

Re: RT Late Tiger One
Volume control. Nice and simple. Like it. At first I thought it was a rotary selector for changing the sound files.
Replayed the video another couple of times today also. Like the fact that you can get the engine revving sound without the model moving.
