Hello everyone, question for the most informed,
years later a doubt came back to me: what color were the air filters of the P45 originally? Some sites say ivory white others say gray, in a photo of the Saumur museum they look green !! ?? Is there reliable information? Thank you!

Hi Ivano hope you are well.from what I can see it’s post war painted even the interior is sprayed green.so I’m guessing the air filter canisters are not a true colour. 8)

Hi Gary, yes so far so good, I hope you too. I share your thoughts. Precisely for this reason I was wondering if anyone has information on the original color.

I just got this answer from my friend David Birden, I think he is one of the leading Tiger 1 experts in Europe.
David Byrden
These in Saumur are dirty and appear to have been painted green by the museum, like the rest of the tanks.
But there are traces of cream paint underneath. (first image)

In this photo they look reflective and possibly unpainted. (Second photo).
What do you think? Thank you!

Happy Sunday everyone, I'm running out of air filters on the 1/2 engine already sold. I'll show you how I make it solid enough.
To fix the two filters to the base I fixed a brass profile with M2 screws on which I welded M2 nuts and an M4 nut. For the clamps that close the lids I used M1 rivets with relative nuts which I then fixed with a drop of tin. This way they are solidly attached without using glue. Now I will put the hooks and then we proceed to the coloring.

The clamps are also finished, all the levers were fixed with a drop of tin

Good evening everyone, for the friends who asked for the price of the P45 and P30, unfortunately I have to postpone until September. There have been incredible increases on all materials (resia, mold silicone, MDF, 3D printing) if I were to give you a price now, it would be out of the question and definitely out of business. Suffice it to say that today all the bolts alone cost € 145, before they cost € 98. With my usual co-worker, we are trying to get new quotes and are evaluating the cost of 3D printing to replace the resin for other engine parts. It is a long search that we will do in August when we are on vacation. So I can only get a price when companies start working again. Unfortunately this is the situation and I cannot do better. However, I am always available for information. As always I hope you understand what I write because I use the Google translator. Thanks for your patience.

Caro Ivano,

Grazie per la pazienza, quando sarai pronto contattami mi piacerebbe molto uno dei tuoi motori Tiger, se devo aspettare settembre per il costo questo non sarà un problema. io uso anche Google Pizan.

The upper part of the motor that I have sold is finally finished, I hope the buyer likes it. I think I can say that it came good. For the prices of any new kits, I confirm that we will have to wait until September. Happy holidays to all.

Hello, still available an engine kit for Tiger1 and an engine kit for King Tiger. They are the last, then production stops because production has become economically unsustainable. Thank you!
