Search Light
Once there was a beautifully crafted Armorpax Search Light with a Dust
bin lid for the front.
But now I think Ive done Dave's fine work justice

Hello Phil, I am assuming that the parts fitted to the sides of your pannier, which look like they hold the pannier lid open, or stop the lid opening too far, are not in the kit.
The part looks like a tube with a wire which runs from the side to the lid. Is this hand made?. John has the same system. If so, I can make my own later in the build....thanks...mick

Panier Stay
Hi mick
Yes the Panier cable stay was self made and the bits inside are just thin
galvanised sheet scrap from work.
I still used the magnets, both on the front edge after hingeing the lid,it was
trial and error for the position because they are very strong.

Comet
Hi
Thanks Nick
Once I found out that I could drill wide enough for the Led cables it was
just a matter of the reflector and led.
The reflector was easy, good old B&Q had a modern little torch with a
plane reflector at the exact diameter I needed.
I have started the tracks,I have assembled the one run of 111 links, doing
20 links per can of Magniers Cider sitting out in the sun, but I left that to
carry on with some of the other build untill I get my option packs.
I am going to copy some of your tools you did,but I dont think I will be
able to do that little Pipe wrench,it was amasing.
Cheers
Phil

Thanks for your answer Phil. I will leave all or most of any extra add-ons until I have built my Comet kit.
Can't wait to have it running....I suppose there is nothing stopping me fitting the motors......no no no.....be patient.
The more parts you fit the more 'tank like' it becomes. I have interchanged some of the bolts and I did move the cable bracket...thanks again....mick
