Hi Guys
Does anyone have any pictures of the S shaped hooks used with the tow
on the stugs and some early PzIII.
They had these before the C shackels.

Thanks

Derek,

First off superb work on the Stug and getting the gun together. Its looking a really solid job. I was wondering about the amount of traverse you have on the gun, I thought that the Stug gun could only move about 10 degrees either side of straight ahead. No doubt someone reading this will have the correct figure but by the extent of the traverse gear you have fitted leads me to think you have more traverse than that.

Hi Guys
Allan the travel is about 10 deg. I have way more gear than I need
but I wanted the option of being able to move the turn motor during fitting and also it needed to be a good strong mounting.

Freddie
Thanks for the comments the colour will have to wait a bit longer I have just put it together for a model engineer show this weekend.
It is to cold for me to spray at the moment.

One of the most popular questions at shows is "does the MAIN gun fire" so I usually shoot them with the machine gun.
Its a pity that it cant be done without using real cartridges and the resultant smoke.
I know some people have tried other means (recordings plus mechanical recoil) but have they been successful???

Hi Sarah
Please come and say hello. What day are you down?
It was a good day today and the Stug had a lot
of interest.
I have a couple of issues to sort out after the show that only show up once things move under there own power.

Derek,

I wish this exhibition would be on for longer than a couple of days, I would love to come and meet you and look at the Stug in the flesh but I've been away on business all week and cannot make it this weekend. Three days is not long enough for these sorts of maor exhibitions. I am glad the Stug is receiving a lot of interest, these models are most impressive and different from the stem models which used to dominate a few years back when I went last. Now there is more variety.

Hi Derek,

It was great to meet you (and Keith) and have a nice chat. Your Stug looks great, you've put a lot of good work into it so far and I look forward to watching it's progress.

Hi Guys
It was a great show and it was nice to meet Sarah and the other owners
that came to say hello including Simon Manning and Steve Winstone.
As I said I haver some teething problems that need to be addressed.

But Nothing that cant be fixed with a bit of TLC or a thump with a big hammer

Hi Guys
Been away for a couple of weeks building a Herring drifter model.
To get back to the STUG I have a question.
I was wondering if any one out there know where to get small strip hinge
for the front and rear fender flaps ?
I want to replace the 2 hinges supplied in the kit.

Thanks

Derek
