Hi Jerry,

That´s not too difficult....
Hop on a plane and fly into Düsseldorf. We can pick you up there and give you a ride. We can also get you a room in the hotel where we stay at. And if you have too much leisure time, you may even stay at my place for a few days...
How does that grab you?

Cheers

Peter
Sounds terrific. Thanks! I'll keep you all current with what I'm able and can plan to do. I've not been out of the US in some while and the world has
changed a bit since...

Jerry

Hi All,

Hope to Welkom all participants for Armortek Hill Militracks 2024.
If everybody show up we have a full house with more than 25 Armortek tanks, looking forward to it to have a great Parade with all those fantastic models and tankers on both days.

AT GATE 1 (entrance site and camping) THERE IS THE LIST WITH OUR NAMES and the car license plates. Everyone on the list will receive a wristband at the gate.
Access to the grounds - No-one has access to the grounds without a valid wristband. This also applies to your children, partner, etc. - On Saturday the event opens to the public at 9:00 a.m. PARTICIPANTS and their vehicles have access through Gate 1 on Saturday/Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. You will be told your stand ARMORTEK HILL all relevant (safety) information upon arrival and your wristbands will be issued at the gate. Always follow the instructions of our staff on site. - You can also choose to arrive on Friday .

On Friday we start with building up our side, FROM 12.00u UNTIL 20.00u

For Saturday and Sunday everyone has to be around 0800u on Armortek Hill to be present.
MEANS ARRIVAL BETWEEN 0700u AND 0800u.
For both days we can leave the side after 18.00u

We have a power point to charge our batteries if needed. And if the unthinkable happens.. the rain start to fall.. we have a tent and a trailer to cover the models. For sure the night falls in everyone has to take care for his models to be stored safe. There is no storage at the museum.
It is not allowed to have (large) symbols related to political WO2, please respect this.
It is requested to everyone that during both days always (at least) two tanks are running for the public. I will not ask to maintain this it has to be come out of ourself. Let’s make a great show of it.
If all preparations are ready in time, we will have the longest…(whatever produced by Armortek!!) as an extra show and photo point.
Let’s make all together a great show once again. The Parade will be at 1500u on both days.

Kind regards
Kees

Hi all,
I received an email last Saturday from the museum.
Militracks become so popular that there is a parking problem on site. That they have to make choices.
After a good conversation we came up with this.
• On Friday everyone can enter via GATE 1 with his car to unload an build up the stand.
• Build up the sleeping tents (3x) and a partytent 3x6mtr to store models.
• Only Uwe Gerstenmayer and I can leave the cars the hole weekend on site.
• Steve Stuart can enter and park his car during daytime on site.
• All others can enter with their cars on Saturday and Sunday at 0800 (or before) via GATE 1 the site. For unloading the models. BUT HAVE TO PARK THE CARS OUTSIDE BEFORE 0900u.
• There is a public parking at Schaartven available for us. About 15min walk.

Everyone is welcome after 1200u on Friday and will receive there wristband from me.
The Dutch Army will be our very close neighbours like two years ago…
Kind regards kees
